Hand finished and upholstered  by BPL in her East London studio, the Pantoufle slipper chair was created with the bones of an original 1890s frame, completely stripped back and reworked. A one off original, traditionally rebuilt using webbing, springs, hair and reimagined in acid yellow Designers Guild patterned velvet, made in Italy. Lacquered wood and decorative tufting.
 
All of BPL’s pieces are inspired by a magpie's eye to create unique, covetable treasures to last a lifetime and more. Barbara hopes these pieces will be cherished and passed down through generations.  Due to the nature of handwork, each piece will vary, making it unique.

    Made to order products are non-refundable. These can be products such as upholstery, art, ceramics and/or sculpture. When a product is non-refundable, it is stated in the product copy on the product listing page.

    We hope you are happy with your Studio Paleka purchase. However, if you would like to return your item you have 7 days to notify us from the date of receipt. You will have a further 14 days to send your item back after receiving a response from Studio Paleka. The returns period will expire 14 days from the day on which you receive the goods that you have ordered.

    For London area purchases, please get in touch for a delivery quote. For elsewhere in the UK, we work with a variety of couriers and can work with you to achieve the best delivery.
